Central Retail Group appoints new CEO of Central and Robinson Department Stores

Thai conglomerate Central Retail Group (CRC) has appointed Nattira Bunsri to the role of CEO of Central and Robinson Department Stores.

Bunsri will be responsible for driving the Central and Robinson Department Stores businesses on an international scale, and will put strategies in place to ensure the company remains a market leader in Thailand.

“The mission of Central and Robinson Department Stores is to create a lasting impression on our customers and make them the happiest, as we are committed to constantly innovating and delivering the best customer experience,” said Boonsri.

“We are also committed to playing a significant role in advancing both social and environmental sustainability in conjunction with our business operations.”

A Harvard Business graduate, Bunsri most recently served as chief commercial officer of Central Retail Group, where she was responsible for overseeing the integration between business groups.

“We are customer centric and focus on innovation and development. To understand the ever-changing lifestyles of customers. Therefore, we must always think of new things. It’s not just about selling products,” said CRC in press release.

“But we want to provide the best experience for our customers. Moreover, we are committed to being one of the important forces driving development as we have always been in terms of social development and environmental sustainability together throughout the business operations.”

Last year, CRC generated USD 6.7 billion in revenue, with a net profit of USD 216.6 million.

The company was also featured in Euromonitor’s official ranking of the fastest growing retailers in APAC in 2022, placing ninth overall.
