Zalora appoints Parker Gundersen as CEO

Online fashion retailer ZALORA has appointed Parker Gundersen as Chief Executive Officer. Gundersen was previously with DFS Group, the travel retail subsidiary of Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

Gundersen brings over 15 years of relevant retail and leadership experience working in key management positions across Asia, the Middle East and North America. Early in his career at DFS, he was responsible for leading a number of high profile projects for the company, including establishing DFS’ footprint in the Middle East and developing the company’s operations in India.

From 2011-2015, Gundersen served as General Manager for DFS Singapore, and most recently held the position of Vice President for DFS North America, overseeing the company’s operations and business development function in the region. Prior to DFS, Gundersen worked in management consulting in the Strategy & Operations practice at Deloitte Consulting.

Gundersen holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Management degree from the University of St. Thomas and has an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
