Unilever has appointed Pier Luigi Sigismondi as president of Unilever Southeast Asia and Australasia (SEAA).
Sigismondi (pictured) will take over immediately from Peter Ter Kulve, who is moving to a new role.
Sigismondi will be based in Singapore. Prior to this role, Sigismondi was chief supply chain officer for Unilever where he was accountable for Unilever’s end-to-end value chain and created one of the best supply chains in the FMCG industry.
Paul Polman, chief executive of Unilever, said: “I am extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Sigismondi to this role. His experience in business strategy and supply chain will undoubtedly be an asset to the dynamic SEAA region.”
