Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert is a highly experienced and well-regarded business expert who joined the LVMH Group in 1996. He has successfully held executive sales positions within five Maisons: Loewe, Celine, Louis Vuitton, Berluti, and RIMOWA since 2018. Hugues initiated and oversaw the repositioning of RIMOWA’s distribution, business model restructuring, along with the creation and rapid development of its e-commerce operations.

Hugues Bonnet-Masimbert said, “RIMOWA is a fantastic brand with a more than 120 years history of excellence and innovation. I am honoured to take on the role of Chairman and CEO of the Maison, and pursue this mission initiated by Alexandre Arnault. RIMOWA is a dynamic company and we have successfully re-established the brand’s leading position within the ever-changing global travel business environment. I am very enthusiastic about the opportunities to come to continue building the brand’s growth, strategic development and innovative endeavours. Along with the brilliant and inspired teams, loyal and strong partners, exceptional customer value and service, we will continue to determinedly drive operational, production and distribution efficiencies, keeping our German engineering heritage, innovation, creativity and craftsmanship at the heart of our DNA.”

Alexandre Arnault said, “I want to extend my warmest gratitude to all the teams at RIMOWA for the past four years we have spent together. Thanks to their energy, commitment and talent, our Maison has undergone a profound transformation. The efforts made to elevate creativity, develop production resources and redefine the business model have strengthened RIMOWA’s leadership. At my side for the past three years, Hugues has been one of the primary artisans behind this success, and I am delighted to see him promoted to this new role. I know that under his leadership RIMOWA will pursue its ambitious growth itinerary and will come through the current period stronger than ever.”
