Singapore-based Evelyne Ly-Wainer has joined Shiseido Travel Retail as Vice-President Business Development.

In her new position, Ly-Wainer reports to Shiseido Travel Retail President Philippe Lesné. She is now responsible for ‘identifying future trends and developing strategic growth opportunities for the company’s portfolio of skincare, make-up and fragrance brands in the global travel retail market.’
Shiseido says that one of her primary tasks – alongside the global marketing team and regional general managers in Singapore, Miami and Paris – will be to find new ways to engage with global shoppers and ‘accelerate growth in the channel’.
LY-WAINER JOINS SHISEIDO FROM L’ORÉAL
The company adds that Ly-Wainer is an MBA graduate from the Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) business school in Paris. She joins Shiseido from L’Oréal after 13-plus years working in various marketing and brand management roles, focusing on the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Shiseido on 22 August she was employed at BNP Paribas Securities Services for two years as a mergers and acquisitions analyst.
