Lagardère Travel Retail has announced an ‘evolution of its organisation’ and changes to its senior management team within Asia, where the company boasts a ‘strong and growing presence’ across the region in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Following the recent departure of Cherylene See, PR Communications and Marketing Manager, Mr. CC Lee (CC) will also be leaving the company to ‘take on new career challenges’.
After five successful years with the group, CC has been ‘instrumental in growing the company’s business in the region’, seeing a strong development of more than 50 retail stores and foodservice in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Louis Dambrine will now take the role of CEO for Singapore and Malaysia, managing a network of over 40 stores including luxury fashion, gourmet foods and confectionery, travel essentials and foodservice.
EFFECTIVE 1 DECEMBER
Dambrine joined Lagardère Travel Retail in 2008 as Business Controller responsible for the oversight of group subsidiaries in Asia, Poland, Hungary and Belgium.
He moved to Singapore in 2012 as Finance Manager before taking the role of General Manager of Hong Kong in January 2015.
Before joining the Lagardère group, Louis worked at Linedata Services and Arval-BNP Paribas Group in positions based in Paris and the Czech Republic.
Eudes Fabre, currently CEO of China, will take on the long-standing Hong Kong business as CEO, Greater China. The changes will take effect on the 1st of December and allows Lagardère Travel Retail to ‘continue the successful growth in the region as well as support the promise of local focus for traveller’s local needs’, it says.
