Retykle expands into Singapore

Following a successful round of funding earlier this year, Retykle, a resale platform dedicated to children’s designer clothing, gear and toys in Asia, announced its expansion into Singapore.

Marking the Hong Kong-founded brand’s first foray into an overseas market, Singapore-based shoppers can now sell and purchase online, whilst a physical studio enables customers to drop-off their outgrown clothes, whilst browsing through a curated edit of the most sought-after brands.

Retykle was founded by Sarah Garner in 2016 in Hong Kong. Following the birth of her first child, the former luxury fashion veteran experienced first-hand how quickly kids grow out of their clothes, leaving behind closets full of too small, barely worn items. With a vision to build a circular fashion company that positively impacts the environment, parents’ lives and the community, Retykle was born. Since then, over 150,000 products have been recirculated through Retykle.

Speaking of Retykle’s expansion, Sarah Garner said, “With its growing appetite for eco-conscious fashion and lifestyle choices, Singapore was a natural second market for Retykle. We are looking forward to empowering parents to conveniently reduce children’s fashion waste by transforming the way they shop.”

Retykle carries over 2500+ childrenswear brands, including Bonpoint, Jacadi, Petit Bateau, Stella McCartney, Ralph Lauren and Burberry, catering for ages 0-14, as well as a selection of maternity wear. With a strong emphasis on quality and user experience, the platform enables buyers to purchase with confidence, safe in the knowledge that every item listed for sale has undergone thorough inspection in order to meet Retykle’s rigorous quality and authentication standards. Items that do not meet Retykle’s quality and brand standards can be donated to charity or returned to the seller, ensuring that everything remains in circulation and out of landfill.
