COURTS, leader in home appliances, officially launched its COURTS Nojima flagship store on Orchard Road on 6th November, ahead of its previously announced timeline of Q1 2022.
“Despite facing numerous headwinds and uncertainties due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we are extremely heartened to be opening the COURTS Nojima flagship store ahead of schedule, thanks to the invaluable support of our partners and the dedication and hardwork from our staff,” said Mr Hoang Duc Thanh Matthew, Group Chief Operating Officer of COURTS Asia Limited and Country CEO of COURTS Singapore.

Only three levels will open at first, offering a wide range of electrical, IT, furniture and bedding products. Some unique in-store offerings include Itoki, a 130-year-old Japanese workplace furnishing brand, as well as a premium bedding range including Serta, Sealy and Simmons brands. The remaining floors, B1, Level 4 and Level 5 are scheduled to open in Q1 2022.

The flagship store also features innovative experiential concepts such as a fully equipped e-sports gaming room, capable of hosting e-sports tournaments, four premium sound rooms housing mid-to-premium brands and a first-of-its-kind robotic vacuum experiential area with robotic vacuums from six popular brands.
Customers can expect a fully-immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience in-store themed “Bitty’s Ultimate Shopping Voyage” led by Bitty, COURTS Nojima’s virtual store mascot. The experience brings customers through the store with QR code stickers at key areas to assist with wayfinding and identifying the best deals store-wide.
Spanning 189,000 square feet across six floors, the new COURTS Nojima store on Orchard Road will be the largest retail space in Singapore once fully opened in Q1 2022.

“The new COURTS Nojima store will be looking to hire more staff across our retail floors, and we are delighted to have the opportunity to create job opportunities within the sector. With this opening, we hope to share some festive cheer to Singapore shoppers as the year draws to a close, and play our part in bringing back the spirit and vibrancy of Singapore’s overall retail sector,” he said.
The new store’s namesake is modelled with COURTS’ parent company in mind, Nojima Corporation, and the COURTS Nojima flagship store delivers Japanese standards of service to Singapore.
