Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido has opened its first-ever store in India, coinciding with the appointment of the beauty brand’s debut India ambassador, Tamannaah Bhatia.

Located in Mall Malad in Mumbai, the inaugural Shiseido India boutique opened its doors on October 18, in conjunction with its India distributor, Baccarose Perfumes & Beauty Products.
In addition to the new store, Tokyo-based Shiseido is also available online at popular online Indian retailers such as Parcos, Nykaa, Shoppers Stop, and Sephora.
The first-ever brand ambassador in India for Shiseido and its skincare range, Bhatia is popular Bollywood star, known for her mesmerising on-screen presence and her dedication to her craft.

Currently, Shiseido products are available at 62 retail outlets across India, with ambitious plans to reach 75 doors by the end of the year.
