Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), the second largest government-run cooperative milk federation in India after Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, will soon increase milk procurement and retail prices, a top federation official said on Thursday.
KMF is expected to increase the price in the next 10 days after getting the green light from the state government. The proposed hike is because of rising production costs for farmers, KMF chairman Somashekara Reddy said.
