“With Prime, guaranteed one-day delivery becomes an everyday experience instead of an occasional indulgence, and with no minimum purchases, it provides unlimited convenience all year long” said Amit Agarwal, Vice-President & Country Head, Amazon India.

Amazon.in is offering a free two-month trial period and has revamped its on-site and app experience to allow customers to discover and choose Prime products. Members will also enjoy Prime Early Access, which will help them purchase top deals 30 minutes early every day.

In India, Prime is being offered at Rs 999 per year. In the US, patrons subscribing to Amazon Prime are charged $10.99 monthly and $99 annually. In India, however, the pricing is lower to crack the price sensitive Indian market.
