A free-trade agreement between India and the 10-nation bloc ASEAN is expected to push two-way trade to USD100 billion in the next five years, according to a study by industry body Ficci.
The trade pact, signed in August last year, came into force with three countries (Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand) from 1 January and is expected to become operationalised with the remaining seven countries in the coming months.
