UK upmarket department store John Lewis is planning to partner with Australian retailer Myer to launch six shop-in-shops at selected Myer stores and on its online site.
The partners plan to open the first shop-in-shop by the end of the year in Myer’s refurbished Warringah store in Sydney.
The remaining shop-in-shops will be launched in early 2017 in Melbourne, Perth, Bondi, Chadstone, and Myer’s flagship store in Sydney.
John Lewis international development head Katie Jordan said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our international presence and bringing John Lewis to new countries around the world, both through physical collaborations and by expanding our online international delivery destinations.”
In UK, John Lewis operates 32 department stores, 12 John Lewis at home and shops at St Pancras International and Heathrow Terminal 2 as well as johnlewis.com.
