Indochino Australia is the company’s first launch outside of North America, which offers local currency and duty free shipping to shoppers downunder.

According to a company press release, the platform will pave the way for future store locations across the nation.

“As a former resident of Sydney, I’m thrilled to bring Indochino clothing to Australian shores, as the country and its people hold a special place in my heart,” said Drew Green, president and CEO of Indochino.

The Vancouver-based menswear company launched in 2007 as an online-only store, before opening its first permanent bricks-and-mortar location in 2014, in Vancouver.

The made-to-measure company is known for personalised apparel targeted to the mass market, and at a price comparable to off the rack alternatives. The company’s omni-channel approach allows them to shop online or in person at any showroom.

“We were the original brand to reinvent how men shop—beginning with made to measure suits and now offering a wide assortment of custom clothing—all delivered in an industry-leading two weeks. Now, we’re ready to shake up the way Aussie men get dressed, each and every day,” added Green.

Via the local store, Australian customers can create custom suits, vests, chinos and blazers. These garments are then made to their precise measurements and shipped directly to the customer’s door within two weeks.
