The Times Square boutique measures 133 square metres, making it the biggest Marni concept store in Hong Kong, while the Marni store at The Londoner, spanning over 143 square metres, is the first boutique from the Italian luxury brand to open in Macau.

Developed by creative director Francesco Risso together with the in-house architecture team at Marni, both boutiques are designed as “a creative hub where fashion design, interior design and creativity converge,” according to a press release.

Riffing on Marni’s design DNA, ultramarine blue is featured throughout the stores. Gradient blue carpet is juxtaposed with reflective walls clad in beveled silver mirror ceramic tiles and hanging rails.

At the centre of the Times Square boutique, the lounge area is decorated with vintage black modular round seats, resembling the living room of an art collector, while the Londoner boutique showcases degradè carpet and silver mirror ceramic tiles.

The new concept stores also showcase Marni’s Spring/Summer 2023 Vol. 1 collection, including menswear, womenswear, handbags, footwear, and accessories collections. Inspired by modern uniforms, with radical use of colours and proportions, the collection pays homage to the 1970 silhouettes.

This season, Marni added the Trunk East-West Bag, Toggle Bag, and Venice Mini Bucket Bag, to its handbag collections. To celebrate the new store opening, the Trunk East-West Aquamarine calfskin bags will be available exclusively at the Time Square store, said the brand.

The new Times Square location takes Marni’s store count to seven in Hong Kong.
