Malaysia’s largest DON DON DONKI store opens at Tropicana Gardens Mall

Malaysia’s second and largest Jonetz by Don Don Donki store opened  at Tropicana Gardens Mall on 10th December. This follows the recent opening of the first Malaysian store located in Lot 10 earlier this year. Don Don Donki’s local holding company, Pan Pacific Retail Management (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, is planning to open 11 new outlets  in the country by 2024.

Spanning 42,243 square feet across two levels, the new store features a wide variety of Japanese products.

Customers can embark on a “Japanese gourmet trip” in  the food court “Yatai” that boasts 170 seats for customers to enjoy dishes they buy in-store such as Takoyaki from Osaka and Ikayaki (grilled squid) from Hokkaido.

A fruit corner “Furu Furu”  is also available providing a wide selection of fresh seasonal fruits from Japan.

The store also provides an assortment of Japanese Wagyu beef, such as Omi beef and Hida brand Wagyu beef.

A large variety of Japanese cosmetics are available at the cosmetics corner “Cosme DONKI”, along with the instructions and benefits of these beauty products.

Other than Malaysia, Don Don Donki is also expanding multiple stores in the Pan Pacific area, in countries such as Singapore and Hong Kong with the concept of Japan brand specialty stores.
