Maison Margiela opens first fragrance store in Macau

Joining a number of luxury fashion and beauty brands that have opened standalone boutiques in Macau in recent months, Maison Margiela has unveiled its first fragrance store in Macau at the Venetian Macao.

Dedicated to the maison’s Replica collection, a clothing and accessory line that debuted in 1994 and was expanded in 2012 to include an array of fragrances, the new store echoes the brand’s pared-back aesthetics.

Inside, monochromatic layers and various textures from sandy travertine to sculptural ivory textiles add complexity to cream-coloured walls, designed as a sanctuary for fragrances.

The store features Maison Margiela’s full fragrance collection, from bath and body products and home scents to the brand’s popular Replica eau de parfum and eau de toilette.

Enhancing the customer journey in Maison Margiela’s Macau store is a personalisation area where customers can utilise a vintage labelling machine and add a bespoke touch to purchases of a 100ml fragrance.
