Located in Kuala Lumpur, the new Jonetz by Don Don Donki store measures 23,476 square metres, across three floors in Lot 10, Bukit Bintang.

Known for its Japan-Made items, Jonetz by Don Don Donki’s new Malaysia store retails Japanese snacks and groceries, including a variety of halal-certified Wagyu beef platters and barbecued meat.

Malay shoppers will also find ready-to-eat meals and desserts, such as sushi platters along with Japanese cakes and treats. Aside from food, the discount store retails home
and kitchen goods, such as cooking equipment and other electronics items, in addition to skincare and beauty products and other lifestyle items.

The new store opening coincides with plans by Pan Pacific International Holdings Corp (PPIH), the parent company Don Don Donki, to expand its business across the Asia-Pacific region in the coming year.

Looking ahead, Pan Pacific Malaysia president Satoshi Machida said the group planned to open up 11 stores in the APAC region in the next five years between 2021 and 2024.

With over 600 stores globally with 580 stores being in Japan, Don Don Donki was founded by Takao Yasuda some thirty years ago, and has been on a retail rollout across Asia and beyond ever since.
