South Korea has cleared the remaining stumbling block preventing an individual from bringing an iPad into the country.
The Korea Communications Commission, the country’s communications regulator, said on Thursday that Apple Inc.’s iPad passed technical tests and fit with local technical standards. But it maintained its previous stance that the ruling applies only to iPads brought in for personal use, and that individuals won’t be allowed to enter the country with more than one iPad.
