Luxury watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has opened its first Japanese flagship in Tokyo, located on Ginza Namiki Street.
Covering 100-square metres space over one single floor, the boutique is devoted to the contemporary and luxury timepieces, products of the Richemont brand’s ‘Manufacture’, as well as exquisite jewellery and accessories.
Designed in minimalist style, the flagship also features a special area reserved for a Jaeger-LeCoultre watchmaker who will handle maintenance and repairs for customers.

For the opening on 9 November 2016, close to 150 guests were welcomed by Daniel Riedo, Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO and Stefano Bossi, Jaeger-LeCoultre brand manager in Japan – all in attendance to officially inaugurate the grand opening of the boutique.
In the morning, Jaeger-LeCoultre management hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with influencers from both the watchmaking and fashion worlds, followed by a cocktail reception in the evening.
Special guest Maki Tamaru wore a Reverso by Christian Louboutin from the Atelier Reverso, a unique piece specifically created to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of the iconic Reverso watch.
To mark the opening, exclusive pieces from the luxury brand were also on display in the boutique: the grand complication watch Reverso Tribute Gyrotourbillon and a high-end jewellery piece, the Reverso One High Jewellery.
Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of Swiss group Richemont’s watch brands. It is currently number two in the world of luxury behind Piaget.
