The location of the mall at IOI Resort city is strategic as it takes advantage of the area’s projected population catchment of 3.1 million people from adjacent townships. An additional benefit is its proximity to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, only 30-minutes by car, making it a desirable center for shopping and entertainment.

IOI City Mall will have approximately 700 retail outlets in total after the addition of more than 300 retail stores. This is predicted to strengthen the mall’s value proposition as the best place to shop with coveted brands.

“IOI City Mall is set to become the largest shopping mall in Malaysia with an additional one million sq ft of net lettable area (NLA), bringing the total NLA of IOI City Mall to 2.5 million sq ft,” Datuk Voon Tin Yow, CEO of IOI Properties Group Bhd. “It will lead the way as the nation’s premier shopping and lifestyle destination.”
