Taiwan consumer confidence reaches record high, says new study

Taiwan’s consumer confidence index (CCI) rose 1.69 points to 91.13 in March, which is an all-time high since records began 15 years ago. The National Central University (NCU), which led the study, said among all the CCI’s sub-indexes, only the confidence level for durable goods purchases – such as real estate and cars – declined.
