Panerai opens store at Hong Kong International Airport

Panerai, the Florentine luxury watchmaker, announces the opening of its first boutique at the international airport in Hong Kong (HKIA), located at Terminal 1 – in the departure hall.

The new boutique is the sixth opened in the Hong Kong area and joins the already existing locations in Canton Road, Landmark Prince’s, IFC, Times Square and Tsim Sha Tsui Centre.

With an area of 27 square-meter, the new boutique stands out for its natural blend between tradition and future, bringing clients to discover the Maison’s heritage, craftsmanship and technical expertise by enabling watch aficionados and clients to live an exceptional shopping experience.

The concept of the design and materials used, such as the oak wood and burnished brass are a clear reminder to the world of the sea and the glorious past of the brand whose roots are embedded in the history of the Italian Navy.

Hong Kong International Airport was opened in 1998 and today is one of the world’s busiest airport by passengers traffic; indeed it handles more than 74.7 million passengers per year being a worldwide destination of more than 120 airlines. Panerai has now 126 boutiques throughout the world, 6 of which are in Hong Kong.
