Italy’s GCDS opens in Hong Kong’s K11 MUSEA

​On 26th August, K11 Musea opened its doors to public after 10 years of planning and building. The project is bringing in town new international brands, and welcoming brands with presence in Asia with exclusive concepts designed for this new venue.

Italian streetwear label GCDS (God Can’t Destroy Streetwear) opens its first store in Hong Kong.

Set to be the brand’s first store in the Greater China area, the store is locating at the new cultural-retail destination K11 MUSEA, a unique retail destination touted by its immersive experiences of art, culture and commerce.

GCDS was founded in 2015 by the Calza brothers where Guliano Calza is the Creative Director and Giordano Calza being the CEO of the Brand. The brand boldly combines retro and streetwear elements in its designs to create an unconventional and quality streetwear collection.

By playing on conspicuous logos, ironic graphics and catchy slogans, GCDS have successfully made a splash in the fashion world and soon became one of the most-hyped streetwear brands.

The new store covers an area of over 1,300 square feet, the interior design takes cues from the brand’s aestheticism, featuring a greyish-white shade with bold pops of colors to create visual balance.

Geometric installations are used for product display, which seamlessly connects the entire retail space. It delicately infuses playfulness, creativity, and vibrancy as well as accentuates a futuristic vibe into the store. GCDS is creating an exquisite shopping atmosphere for customers to experience its unique and vivid brand culture.
