Byredo recently opened its first store in Hong Kong, expanding its retail presence in Asia. With its new location on Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay, one of the city’s biggest retail destinations, Byredo’s brand universe is encapsulated.

With a dark gray brick facade, the new flagship reflects the dynamism of Hong Kong. The lacquered mechanical table, galvanized metal cabinets, cowskin daybed, douglas fir bag shelf, and counter, all designed by Halleroed and Byredo, contrast with the exterior’s depth and striking minimal elegance.
Through the aluzinc wall at the back, the Italian terrazzo flooring, the matte white walls, and the accent lighting, the contemporary architecture framework is introduced.
Hong Kong’s Fashion Walk features perfumes, home fragrances, makeup, body care, eyewear, and “Byproduct.”
The expansive arm of the brand focuses on craftsmanship outside of the beauty industry in very limited quantities. A previous Byproduct exploration involved fine jewellery and camping equipment.
Hong Kong’s flagship store will also offer customization and delivery services for bespoke products.
