The acclaimed Blue Bottle Coffee, which has been likened to “the Apple Store of the coffee world,” is finally making its way to Hong Kong.

The American coffee brand started in California in 2002 and has since opened over 50 cafés in the United States, Japan and Korea.

Coffee aficionados can look forward to changing up their morning joe or mid-day fuel with the company’s signature sweet, creamy New Orleans-style iced coffee with roasted chicory and sweetened with organic cane sugar.

They will also be serving up the customary markers of any good coffee shop – standard milk-based coffee, espresso, single-origin, coffee blends, and more. As for the space, expect a sleek, minimalist look with plenty of natural light and soft wood, true to the Blue Bottle Coffee aesthetic.

Although the brand technically has not made any official announcements about a Hong Kong opening yet, their official company website recently posted two job listings for a Brand Experience Manager and Director of Operations in Hong Kong, to ‘coordinate new cafe opening planning’ as well as ‘partner with international leadership team to support Hong Kong opening and develop cafe strategies.’
