Partnering with local distributor PP Group Thailan, the new Gentle Monster Bangkok flagship will open its doors on August 25 inside EmQuartier, a large shopping mall located inside the city.

The 340-square-metre flagship store will retail Gentle Monster’s latest eyewear collections, as well as a variety of exclusive products, including the Bold Collection, and collaborative designs with French luxury company Maison Margiela.

To commemorate its store launch in Bangkok, the Seoul-based brand is also set to release a ‘Bangkok Limited Edition’ collection this coming September.

Founded in 2011 by Hankook Kim, Gentle Monster first entered South Korea in 2017 as a shop-in-shop location in Thailand’s CentralWorld. Today, the Korean brand also operates in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and the Philippines.

PP Group Thailand was founded in 2003 by siblings Suvadee Pin Phungbunphra and Orand Puipunthavong. In addition to Gentle Monster, its portfolio of luxury fashion retail brands in Thailand includes Maison Kitsuné, Givenchy, Palm Angels, Longchamp, MCM, Tory Burch, Off-White, Roger Vivier, and Casetify.
