Located at the Omotesando shopping precinct, the new Charles & Keith Shibuya store spans 185 square metres and boasts the fashion brand’s new sixth-generation store concept.

Outside, the facade is adorned with stainless steel hairline finish fluted panels, while inside, the store’s minimalist interior features stone finish porcelain tiles that run through both the walls and flooring.

Neutral tonal carpeting alongside sleek curved seating also features to attract local stylish Harajuku patrons to relax and take a break while they shop.

Upstairs, the second level boasts an ‘by appointment only’ showroom — the first of its kind for the brand — where media, stylists, and celebrities can peruse and loan the Charles and Keith forthcoming launches. The area can also be transformed into an event space for product previews, as well as influencer experiences.

To commemorate the Omotesando store opening, celebrities and friends of the brand including Ayaka Miyoshi and Mademoiselle Yulia were in attendance at the celebration party in late December.

Known for its take on affordable luxury, Charles & Keith’s pricing sits in the mid-range, growing in popularity over the last decade and a half since its founding in 2006. Today the brand boasts nearly 700 stores around the world, including in key fashion cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, and Dubai.
