Neal Reed named as SVP and MD of P&G Australia and New Zealand

Procter & Gamble, one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies, has announced the appointment of Neal Reed as the senior vice president and managing director for P&G Australia and New Zealand.

Reed brings with him a wealth of experience, having joined P&G more than 28 years ago in the United Kingdom. Reed has held various sales roles spanning the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for a period of 14 years. Reed also led Fabric Care Europe before moving to Japan in 2016.

Reed’s most recent position as Senior Vice President of Oral Care in Greater China.

His appointment comes at a crucial time as the company seeks to navigate an ever-evolving consumer landscape and capitalize on emerging opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.

P&G remains a dominant force in the global consumer goods sector, with a portfolio of well-known fast-moving consumer brands.

Reed will be taking over from Kumar Venkatasubramanian, who will be returning to India to assume a leadership role in P&G’s Indian business. During his tenure, Venkatasubramanian spearheaded P&G’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, achieving remarkable success in terms of record-breaking metrics, category growth, and establishing solid partnerships with retailers.
