Joining other shopping centres in the Vietnamese capital such as Trang Tien Plaza, Lotte Center Hanoi, and Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, Lotte Mall West Lake Hanoi soft-opened on July 28, alongside L7 Hotels, marking the hospitality brand’s first overseas hotel.

The Hanoi expansion aims to strengthen Lotte’s foothold in Vietnam, where it currently manages two shopping centres and 15 supermarkets.
The company sees Vietnam as its No. 3 market after South Korea and Japan, said a Lotte executive to Nikkei Asia in 2022.

The new mall’s tenants include fashion brands such as Moschino, Marimekko, Massimo Dutti, and beauty and fragrance labels including Shiseido, Diptyque, and Jo Malone London.
