Ralph Lauren announced on Monday it has partnered with Fortnite to release a digital collection of apparel and accessories, as well as a physical collection of apparel inspired by the digital collection. With inspiration drawn from the American brand’s ‘Stadium’ collection and ‘Polo Sport line’ from the 1990s, the collaboration is now reimagined for the metaverse as a new collection. As part of Ralph Lauren’s collaboration with Epic Games-owned Fortnite, the iconic Polo Pony logo will also be reimagined for the first time in the luxury company’s 55-year history.

Starting November 5, the digital collection will feature two outfits, with alternate styles, as well as additional in-game cosmetics available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop. RalphLauren.com will also offer the physical apparel capsule collection on November 2.
“Ralph Lauren has always designed dreams and created new worlds, and today, our collaboration with Fortnite will deliver a groundbreaking experience to a new community of next-generation players and consumers” according to David Lauren, Ralph Lauren’s chief branding and innovation officer.
This launch will be marked by a series of activations to engage the gaming community, including a Twitch livestream. Additionally, Ralph Lauren will co-host a global tournament in Fortnite – The Polo Stadium Cup – where players will have first access to Ralph Lauren outfits and accessories as a result of winning in-game rewards. On November 4, the tournament will be held across all territories where Fortnite is available.
