The e-commerce platform for luxury fashion also announced New Guards Group co-founders Davide de Giglio and Andrea Grilli are stepping down from their roles, almost four years since Farfetch’s acquisition of the group.

Fagnani has worked in the industry for over two decades, including as chief marketing officer for New Guards Group, in close collaboration with Off-White. He was previously at Nike, where he led marketing, brand experience, and product collaborations.

Stephanie Phair, current group president at Farfetch, has been appointed chair of New Guards Group. Phair, a seasoned fashion executive who founded TheOutnet.com, has held roles at Net-a-Porter, Issey Miyake, and Vogue, and served as chair of the British Fashion Council.

Founded in 2015 and acquired by Farfetch in 2019, New Guards Group manages the production and distribution for 10 global brands, including Off-White, Opening Ceremony, Reebok, and Palm Angels. The leadership teams for the other New Guards Group brands remain unchanged.

José Neves, founder, CEO and chair at Farfetch, said: “New Guards has performed extremely well since 2019, and has continued to execute on its strategy with the recent launch of Reebok. I would like to thank Davide and Andrea for their dedicated leadership over the past four years, and for building a very strong team of successors to continue driving the strategy and operations of NGG. They leave with my fondest best wishes for their future endeavours.”
