Fashion retailer Diesel has opened a new flagship store in Tokyo, located at Ginza Marronnier Gate 1.
The two-story shop was designed by Diesel’s creative director Glenn Martens, and is primarily red and white in color. Diesel said the renovation reflects the brand’s refreshed image under Martens’ creative direction.
By utilizing metal racks that surround the first floor, the store creates a spacious, airy feel, reflecting the brand’s red logo and enhancing the store’s red walls. Additionally, the basement floor is flush with red and white displays and walls, as well asarchitectural features. Alarge sofa, modern industrial modules, and resin shelves punctuate the space.Shoppers can browse the Diesel Fall/Winter 2022 collection, featuring a wide selection of denim, apparel, shoes, bags, and accessories for men and women. Additionally, Diesel Ginza limited and pre-sale products are now available, introduced during the Diesel Fall 2022 fashion show in Tokyo in June.
Over the past 36 years, Diesel has made Japan one of its key markets, opening its first Asian flagship store in Ginza in 2008 and its first large-scale global concept store in Shibuya in 2010.
