Crocs celebrates 20th anniversary with “Croctober” event

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, footwear brand Crocs is hosting a month-long ‘Croctober’ celebration packed with “biggest and boldest fan experiences,” including a global shoe giveaway.

To mark the celebration, Crocs has announced that it will give away tens of thousands of Crocs shoes every day throughout the first week of October. Fans are encouraged to engage with the event with surprise giveaways, exclusive products, and access to the Crocs World experience.

Croc Day, which is celebrated annually on October 23, will include the release of a limited-edition Croc Day Clog. Crocs Club members will have exclusive access to the special release on October 20, with the general release occurring a day later.

Crocs’ chief marketing officer Heidi Cooley stated, “Croctober is one of our favorite times of the year – a time to recognize our fans, many of whom have supported us unconditionally since the beginning.”

“Over the last two decades, as we’ve grown up, they have too, and together we’ve created a global comfort revolution. This Croctober proves there’s no better time to reflect on an incredible 20 years, to celebrate what makes each one of us unique and to build on the momentum to continue inviting fans ‘Come As You Are’ for generations to come,” she continued.

The Croc Day celebrations will culminate in Crocs World, the first global Metaverse experience. Fans will be able to interact in-game through a live in-game meet and greet with a special guest, and Crocs Club members will receive VIP benefits during the immersive virtual event hosted on Zepeto and Roblox platforms.
