Estee Lauder Companies (ELC) is partnering with Balmain to create a line of beauty products that is expected to launch globally in autumn 2024. As part of the partnership, ELC aims to “transform the luxury and couture beauty world” through “exceptional design” and “singular craftsmanship”.
ELC’s new partnership with Pierre Balmain will be led by Olivier Rousteing, the company’s Creative Director.
“For over ten years, my Balmain team and I have been pushing the boundaries of what is possible in fashion” stated Rousteing.
“From the very beginning, the team at The Estée Lauder Companies made it very clear that they support Balmain’s distinctive vision, as well as our goal of disrupting the global luxury beauty paradigm.”
Additionally, Guillaume Jesel was promoted to President of Global Brands, reporting to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive Group President. She will oversee both Tom Ford and Balmain beauty brands.
“We look forward to working with them to expand the Balmain universe and forge a new space in luxury beauty that clearly reflects the strong, inclusive, and fearless spirit of the brand” said Jesel.
