Armani flagship beauty store opens at CDF Haikou complex

L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific and China Duty Free Group (CDFG) have partnered to open a 140-square-metre flagship store for Armani Beauty at the CDF Haikou International Duty Free Shopping Complex in Hainan.

The first Armani flagship outlet opened in Shenzhen in December 2022.

Among the highlights of the store, which opened on 14 June, is the Red River, a moving conveyor belt that displays makeup, including signature products such as Power Fabric Foundation, Lip Maestro Satin, Lip Maestro and Lip Power.

Also featured are the brand’s fragrance collections, including Acqua di Giò, Armani Code, Sì and My Way. The offer is completed by the haute couture fragrances range Armani/Privé and the skincare line, including the signature anti-aging range Crema Nera.

L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific said: “The store offers a series of experiences. Once inside, visitors can play with make-up shades displayed along the Red River or enjoy a one-to-one skincare consultation at the skincare bar. The Emotion Lab invites them to express their creativity through the art of calligraphy, and discover the Armani/Privé fragrances that are just right for them.”

The Red River experience: A glossy red and black moving conveyor belt presents Armani beauty’s collections, allowing the visitor to play with makeup shades and formulations, discovering Giorgio Armani’s many textures and colours.

The Emotion Lab experience: Using inks and calligraphy brushes, visitors to the Armani/Privé Emotion Lab can draw their emotions on an interactive screen to reveal the Armani/Privé fragrances that match their mood. Visitors can also have a one-to-one consultation with a Face Designer to discover the Armani/Privé fragrances.

Face Maestro: As part of their in-store journey, customers can scan a QR code and discover Face Maestro, Armani beauty’s pioneering digital makeup artistry service. Through its technologically advanced, digitally powered make-up artistry recommendations and techniques, the platform allows guests to try over 200 bespoke looks.

The Art of Gifting: The flagship presents numerous gifting offerings that “bring an elegant finishing touch” to their visit.

Make up Consultation experience: Within the flagship, one-to-one make up consultations with Armani beauty face designers are available.
