STARTIT.asia 2019

A panel composed by representatives from Hawksford, Retail in Asia, Intesa Sanpaolo, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, will evaluate startups’ disruptiveness and scalability levels together with their social impact.
The Italy-Phase recruitment will deliver a list of 5 high potential startups to be flown to Hong Kong for the STARTIT.asia week. Selected startups will receive a confirmation by May 24, 2019.
1 The Tender (Apr 15 – May 19, 2019)
Startups can apply to the program by submitting a business plan (no longer than 20 slides) and a short video pitch, by submitting all the material to info@startit.asia
2 The Selection (May 20 – 23, 2019)
A panel composed by representatives from Hawksford, Retail in Asia, Intesa Sanpaolo, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, will select 5 promising startups, that will be flown to Hong Kong for the STARTIT.asia week.
3 Results (May 24, 2019)
Official results of the panel will be available on-line and the 5 selected startups will be contacted by STARTIT.asia staff with all relevant details for the STARTIT.asia week
4 STARTIT.asia week (July 7 – 13, 2019)
The 5 selected startups will start an immersion week program in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, inclusive of investors forums, business matching and mentorship sessions, networking events, to get an overview of the business climate in Hong Kong and exposure to potential partners and investors.
5 The Final Panel (July 13, 2019)
Following a final pitch to a panel of regional investors and partners, a winning startup will receive one year of support to continue growing its business in Asia. The prize will include a 6-month incubation program and a range of administrative, financial and business matching services in Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
6 Let’s Get Started! (Mid October, 2019)
Establishment of a local entity in Hong Kong with the full-range support in the administrative and financial fields, and application for the 6-month incubation program.
