Singapore: November consumer price index

Singapore’s consumer price index (CPI) for November 2009 rose by 0.4 percent over October 2009, due mainly to higher costs of housing, food and "recreation & others". Excluding accommodation costs, the CPI moved up by 0.5 percent. Compared with November 2008, the CPI in November 2009 fell by 0.2 percent on account of the lower cost of housing. Excluding accommodation costs, the CPI fell by 0.3 percent.
