A French court has thrown out accusations against Chanel of stealing a design from a knitwear supplier. The founder of World Tricot, Carmen Colle, had been seeking EUR2.5 million from Chanel for alleged counterfeiting after she spotted a Chanel vest in a shop window with a crochet design she claims is hers.
