Carrefour China opens new stores in Beijing and Chengdu

Carrefour China has opened two new stores, in the cities of Beijing and Chengdu respectively.

The company’s Yang Xi store in Chengdu, which opened on Christmas Day, boasts a sales area of 7,000sqm, 37 checkouts, and parking facilities capable of accommodating over 100 cars.

The Majiapu store in Beijing opened 28 December with a sales area of 6,000sqm, 41 checkouts and parking facilities for 350 cars.

The addition of these latest two stores brings the number of Carrefour hypermarkets in China to 150.
