Located inside The Landmark’s MO Bar, the bar’s interior features furniture and fixtures in the Burberry’s Knight Blue, alongside neon light installations of the brand’s Equestrian Knight Design, a crowd-sourced illustration from circa 1901.

Visitors can partake in a traditional British dining experience, with a set menu that includes toad in the hole and fish and chips. Customised QR codes can be generated to redeem a gift from the Burberry Landmark store vending machine, including horse-shaped bottle opener, new seasonal Burberry Check totes and rubber key charms.

The Rocking Horse bag, a new signature design, was introduced under chief creative officer, Daniel Lee, who took on the top design position at the brand in late 2022.

The bag was showcased by actor and Burberry ambassador Bright, for the house’s Rocking Horse campaign.

The Hong Kong bar takeover will coincide with the opening of Burberry’s store in the Landmark shopping centre, Central, and runs from June 26 to July 14.

In its most recent trading update, London-based Burberry reported a 4 percent decline in full-year revenues to GBP 2.97 billion, hurt by a plummeting Asia-Pacific market in the fourth quarter.

In addition to hosting localised takeovers, a marketing tactic in attracting more Asian consumers to the Burberry brand has been the appointments of local celebrities as brand ambassadors.

Earlier this year, Burberry recruited South Korean actor Son Suk-ku to the Burberry roster, joining Chinese actress Tang Wei, Chinese actor Chen Kun, Thai star Bright, soccer player Son Heung-Min, and South Korean actress Jun Ji-Hyun,
