B&Q ramps up its green credentials

UK home-improvement retailer B&Q has launched its first eco shop-in-shops at two of its biggest stores. The areas within the stores will enable customers to buy all of B&Q’s environmentally friendly products in one place.

The eco-shops will offer items to help people reduce their environmental impact and help them save money on energy, water and food, according to B&Q. There will also be installed services on offer such as solar thermal water-heating installations.
