Average weekly ordinary time earnings (AWOTE) for adult full-time employees in Australia rose 0.4 percent in the three months to May, official figures show.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics’ quarterly survey, released on Thursday, showed AWOTE for the private and public sectors combined was AUD1,351.2 (USD1415) for the quarter. Wages grew a seasonally adjusted 3.4 percent in the year to May.
