Atelier Cologne unveils first boutique in Singapore

French perfumery Atelier Cologne has opened its first standalone store at Takashimaya shopping centre in Singapore’s Orchard Road.

The perfumery has partnered with Aura Prestige, a distributor of skincare, fragrances, makeup and bath and body products in Indonesia, for exclusive distribution rights in Singapore.

In 2022, Atelier Cologne pulled back from the North America market, citing a desire to focus on Asia Pacific.

Currently led by creative perfume director Mathilde Venot, Atelier Cologne was conceived in 2009 by co-founders Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, purveying a slow-crafting approach to creating perfumes using natural ingredients.

The Takashimaya store echoes the brand’s nature-inspired philosophy through wooden installations and recyclable brass consultation tables. Its collections including two main lines, Atelier Cologne’s Collection Absolue and Collection Rare, are displayed at the centre of the boutique.
