Honestbee launches HK’s 1st on-demand concierge grocery delivery service

Honestbee on Friday launched the first on-demand grocery delivery service in Hong Kong. The tech startup offers Hong Kongers the convenience of grocery shopping via the online portal www.honestbee.hk. With freshness guaranteed, concierge shoppers trained by honestbee handpick each item from customers’ online carts and deliver it to their doorsteps within the next hour.

Honestbee has seen impressive growth ever since it began operations in Singapore two months ago.

"We’re excited to launch honestbee in Hong Kong," said honestbee Co-Founder & CEO Joel Sng. "In this fast-paced city, we aim to bring quality products to our customers at their convenience with the best service so they can spend more time on what matters most to them."

To use honestbee’s service, customers can enter theirs address and start shopping online at any of honestbee’s partner stores.

Choose a one hour delivery window to have their groceries delivered. Once the order is placed, an expert honestbee concierge shopper immediately starts picking out selected items.

To maintain commitment to quality and prompt service, honestbee will limit its initial delivery area to Central and Mid-Levels, and their partners to select grocers, Anything But Salads, Liquor & Liqueur, Gateway and Great Food Hall. honestbee will announce new partners and expand its operations in Hong Kong the next year. It also plans to extend its services to Taiwan and other parts of Asia.

In addition to honestbee’s promise of offering a one-stop shop for a range products for customers’ convenience, the company is also dedicated to creating economic opportunities for shoppers – offering people with unconventional schedules, students or stay-home mothers, good jobs through flexible hours and fair pay.
