Goodman Group announced on Tuesday that it has signed a contract with Amazon, one of the world’s leading online e-commerce providers, to develop an approx. 110,000-sq.-m logistics centre in Rheinberg, Germany. Amazon plans to create up to 1,000 long term jobs in Rheinberg. This latest transaction underlines Goodman’s position as the market leader in the development of logistics real estate in Germany.
The new Rheinberg development builds on Goodman’s established relationship with Amazon and is the fifth such facility to be developed on behalf of Amazon in Europe.
The logistics centre will provide approx. 110,000 sqm of storage space and office space. The construction work will commence in early March.
