Macau’s fresh graduates and employers have different salary expectations, finds survey

A recent survey carried out by recruitment company macauHR found that 65 percent of fresh graduates expect starting salaries ranging from MOP11,000 (USD1,375) to MOP15,000, while employers expect to pay between MOP8,000 and MOP11,000 for entry level staff without experience.

macauHR says that 40 percent of employers, however, believe an attractive salary package should range between MOP11,000 and MOP15,000, given Macau’s manpower shortage.
