SSI Group Inc., a Philippine specialty store retailer, is seeking regulatory approval for its plan to raise as much as PHP12.42 billion (USD282 million) through an initial public offering to pay debt and expand its operations.
SSI Group retails international brands such as Hermes, Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Lacoste and Salvatore Ferragamo. It also operates locally Japan’s FamilyMart stores and mid-market department store Wellworth, a joint venture with listed Ayala Land Inc.
