Samsung Opens First Ever Experience Store in Genting

Samsung Malaysia has launched its first ever Samsung Experience Store (SES) in Genting Highlands at the luxurious Sky Avenue mall.

According to the South Korean-born technology brand, the expansion is a “step closer to achieving Samsung’s vision of providing products and service catering to local consumers.”

The SES stock a wide range of Samsung Galaxy mobile phones as well as a vast variety of innovative wearables produced by Samsung. Unlike regular retail stores, the SES aims to serve as a one-stop shop for all Samsung customers by providing customer satisfaction with the best products, with an emphasis on niche services.

“Our aim is to continuously expand our channel coverage providing consumers a revolutionary digital convergence experience. With this expansion to Genting Highlands, we want to bring our innovations closer to local Malaysians as well as those visiting our country,” he added.

The debut was attended by Samsung Malaysia Electronics top management team including Elaine Soh, Chief Marketing Officer; Hosea Heen, Head of Sales of IT & Mobile Business Unit; Lee Sang Hoon, President; and Choe Foo Lung, Head of Retail Marketing, who officiated the SES opening on January 14.

On the day, customers were also invited to take home a personalised caricature mug, specially drawn using a Galaxy Note5, with the purchase of any Samsung product. Additionally, a purchase of any Samsung product enables shoppers to own a special edition umbrella, a promotion which is still running now.

The new Samsung Malaysia store is located at Level T2B, Sky Avenue in Genting Highlands Resorts.
