SIWY opened flagship store in Apgujeong Seoul

The premium denim brand ‘SIWY’ sold by the entertainment company Kiwi Media Group (CEO Jeong Cheol-woong) opened the Apgujeong flagship store in Seoul on July 21.

SIWY is global denim brand loved by Hollywood stars such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Selma Blair, Rachel Bilson, and Beyonce is now sold in 33 countries around the world including Asia, USA, UK, France and Italy.

SIWY Apgujeong Flagship Store is the second flagship store after the ‘ SIWY House’ located in Jeongja-dong, Bundang and the first exclusive store of SIWY brand in Seoul. The flagship store is the ‘pre-order’ system that introduces products ahead of the season, so customers can see the season’s products first. SIWY will launch the SIWY Black men’s line for 2017 F/W season starting from the unisex line launched in May this year.

On the afternoon of the 21st, celebration performances and discount events was held in celebration of the opening of the Apgujeong flagship store. At the opening ceremony, famouse singers, duo “Nick & Sammy” and female duo “WABLE” participated and gave a special performance.

In addition, the store offered a discount promotion up to 50% off on the opening day, and a pouch set with a SIWY logo T-shirt was presented to the customer on the same day. There was also a variety of services available only at the Flagship Store, including a roulette event and catering service.

Kiwi Media Group is expanding its business by running SIWY’ sole distributor. The company plans to open additional brick-and-mortar stores after Bundang and Apgujeong stores.

It is also expanding its distribution network by opening a pop-up store in galleria department, opening stores in 20 major department store. “With the expansion from denim brand to total brand, we applied a lot of elements that attract the attention of fashionistas such as pre-order system,” said CEO Jeong Cheol-woong of Kiwi Media Group. “We will continue to strive to create synergy by combining fashion and entertainment.”
